Doha, Qatar – Anisio Cabral’s first-half goal was enough for Portugal to overcome Austria and claim their first FIFA Under-17 World Cup title.
A crowd of more than 38,000 watched the European champions make history at Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, edging an Austria side who were themselves breaking new ground as the first national team from the country to reach a FIFA World Cup final at any level.
