AFC Champions League: Al Fateh 2-2 Lekhwiya


Nam Tae-Hee’s late strike earned Lekhwiya an away point against Saudi Arabia’s Al Fateh.

The Qatar Stars League leaders looked on course for their second successive AFC champions League win, when the took the lead after just 18 minutes through Youssed El-Arabi.

But despite conceding most of the possession in the first half, the home side drew level from the spot five minutes before the break through Nathan Junior.

Amine Lecomte made a horrific mistake to gift Al Fateh the lead in the 56th minute before Nam managed to score the equalizer four minutes from time with a beatuiful strike from just inside the box.

Esteghlal Khuzestan of Iran beat Al Jazirah 1-0 in Abu Dhabi to top the group with six points.
