Qatar defeated Kosovo 2-0 in a friendly under-23 match in Doha on Friday.
Al-Sadd’s Hashim Ali Abdullatif scored both goals.
It was the team’s first match under former Chile under-20 coach Nicolas Cordova since his appointment last December.
The two sides are set to face off again in another friendly on March 30.
The match was played at Aspire Zone’s training grounds without spectators and no television coverage was available.
