Qatar squad for the Asian Cup qualifying matches against India and Oman

Qatar national team coach Felix Sanchez named a 27-man squad for the final two matches of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.

Jassim bin Hamad stadium will host the remaining games of the qualifying Group E which includes Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India and Oman.

Qatar will face India on June 3 and Oman four days later needing victory in both games to secure top spot in the group and the right to defend its Asian Cup title two years before the tournament kicks off in China.

Akram Afif returns to the squad after missing the European qualifiers matches last March due to injury.
