Qatar Stars League announced on Thursday that the final of the 2020-21 Ooredoo Cup between Al-Rayyan and Al-Sailiya will be played without spectators.
The game will take place tomorrow at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium behind closed doors. Fans who already purchased tickets for the match will be refunded.
The decision came after the government recently announced new precautionary measures to contain a recent surge of coronavirus cases in Qatar. The new restrictions include a ban on gatherings of more than five people in open places.
